Christmas Dominos Recipe

Traditional Newfoundland Christmas Dominos Recipe

3/4 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 cup graham wafers
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 tbsp. vanilla custard powder
3 tbsp. milk
2 cup sifted icing sugar
3 squares semi-sweet chocolate
1tbsp. butter

Bottom: Melt 1/2 cup butter. Blend in 1/4 cup sugar, 1/3 cup cocoa, 1-teaspoon vanilla, egg, graham crumbs, coconut and nuts. Press in 9 inch pan and chill.

Middle: Cream 1/4 cup butter. Blend in 2 tablespoons vanilla custard powder, milk and sifted icing sugar. Spread over the bottom mixture. Chill.

Top: Melt semi-sweet chocolate and 1-tablespoon butter. Spread over the middle and chill before cutting.
