Jam Jams Recipe

Traditional Newfoundland Jam Jams Recipe 1 cup butter
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup molasses
2 tsp baking soda
dissolved in 3 tbsp of boiling water. Enough flour to make a soft dough. Roll and cut out with cookie cutters. Bake 10-12 minutes. While hot spread with jam and place two together.
