We are only three hours from the ferry at Argentia or from the Airport at Gander, and just three and a half hours from the provincial capital of St. Johns. Take the Trans Canada Highway to Highway 230 or 233 and cruise north along the coast.. There are tourist chalets and craft stores located along the route and throughout the town. |

The Town of Burin is located on the Burin Peninsula (Route 210) and is a part of the Heritage L oop. It is a picturesque community in Placentia Bay of approximately 3000 citizens living in a spread-out area on the shores of Burin Inlet, an inlet of water extending 8 km (5 mi) inland from the sea.
Modern Public Schools, College of the North Atlantic Secondary School, Regional Hospital, and Fire & Ambulance services are all available within the town. Of course, banking, shopping, and local restuarants and B&Bs tences of a large community with the scenic beauty and hospitality well-known of outport Newfoundland and Labrador. |
