2 quarts of blueberries
4 quarts of boiling water
6 cups of sugar
3 cups of prunes
Instructions: Add the boiling water to the blueberries and
allow to simmer on the back of the stove until it begins to
boil. Strain and add the six cups of sugar to the gallon of
juice. Boil for 5 minutes and when cool, add the prunes. Put
in a crock or jar, cover with cheesecloth and let stand for
two months. Finally, strain into a bottle and cork. This
wine is strong will last from year to year.
