Stuffed Caribou or Moose Heart Recipe

Traditional Newfoundland Stuffed Caribou or Moose Heart Recipe

Stuffing:
3 cups bread crumbs
1 onion chopped finely or
2 Tbsp onion flakes
2 Tbsp Newfoundland savory
1/4 cup melted butter

Mix together and stuff in heart. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, or until heart is tender. HINT: Wrap heart in parchment paper and foil to prevent drying out.
