Bang Belly Recipe:

  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 Cup Molasses
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp. All-Spice
  • 2 Cups Blueberries
  • 1/2 Cup Margarine or Shortening
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. Mace

Dissolve soda in one tbsp. of hot water.

Mix all together and bake at 325 degrees in 8 in. pan.

Cake is baked when toothpick inserted in Centre comes out clean.
